Carlos Architects Inc. aspires to positively affect local neighborhoods, villages, and communities through the art of architecture and to inform the public to the physical and intrinsic advantages that architecture can afford to culture and society.
By working to create a public appreciation, and regard for architecture; society as a whole will benefit and prosper providing better communities for live, work and play. The public appreciation of inspired architectural design can only occur if the general public is embraced and introduced to the culture of design by architectural professionals. Architects have historically sought out clients who represent the greatest means and opportunity to support the architects design and business ambitions. With a majority of architects seeking to partner with clients with considerable resources, the balance of the general public is left to rely on general contractors and do it yourself television shows for design guidance. I believe that inspired and thoughtfully designed buildings can improve the communities we living in, and that the inception of a culture that values design must derive from public influence and the community at large. Architects must rise to the call to serve humanity and to offer their skills and expertise in design to improve the communities that we live in. Andrew Carlos is a licensed and registered architect in the State of California and Colorado, with extensive experience in residential, commercial and civic architecture. Andrew holds a general design degree from Don Bosco Technical Institute in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is LEED Green Associate certified.
